Irreducible free energy expansion and overlaps locking in mean field spin glasses

چکیده

Following the works of [9],[11], we introduce a diagrammatic formulation for a cavity field expansion around the critical temperature. This approach allows us to obtain a theory for the overlap’s fluctuations and, in particular, the linear part of the Ghirlanda-Guerra relationships (GG) (often called Aizenman-Contucci polynomials (AC)) in a very simple way. We show moreover how these constraints are ”superimposed” by the symmetry of the model with respect to the restriction required by thermodynamic stability. Within this framework it is possible to expand the free energy in terms of these irreducible overlaps fluctuations and in a form that simply put in evidence how the complexity of the solution is related to the complexity of the entropy. key words: Cavity field, Ghirlanda-Guerra, stochastic stability, Aizenman-Contucci polynomials. Fluctuations of the free energy and overlaps in the high temperature p-spin SK and Hopfield models

We study the fluctuations of the free energy and overlaps of n replicas for the p-spin Sherrington-Kirkptarick and Hopfield models of spin glasses in the high temperature phase. For the first model we show that at all inverse temperatures β smaller than Talagrand’s bound βp the free energy on the scale N1−(p−2)/2 converges to a Gaussian law with zero mean and variance βp!/2; and that the law of...

Critical behavior of random spin systems

We provide a strategy to find in few elementary calculations the critical exponents of the overlaps for dilute spin glasses, in absence of external field. Such a strategy is based on the expansion of a suitably perturbed average of the overlaps, which is used in the formulation of the free energy as the difference between a cavity part and the derivative of the free energy itself, considered as...

Stability properties and probability distributions of multi-overlaps in dilute spin glasses

We prove that the Aizenman-Contucci relations, well known for fully connected spin glasses, hold in diluted spin glasses as well. We also prove more general constraints in the same spirit for multioverlaps, systematically confirming and expanding previous results. The strategy we employ makes no use of self-averaging, and allows us to generate hierarchically all such relations within the framew...

Kac limit for finite-range spin glasses.

We consider a finite-range spin glass model in arbitrary dimension, where the strength of the two-body coupling decays to zero over some distance gamma(-1). We show that, under mild assumptions on the interaction potential, the infinite-volume free energy of the system converges to that of the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick one, in the Kac limit gamma-->0. This could be a first step toward an expansio...

A field-theoretical approach to the spin glass transition: models with long but finite interaction range

We study spin glasses with the Kac-type interaction potential for small but finite inverse interaction range γ. Using the theoretical set-up of coupled replicas, through the replica method we argue that the probability of overlap profiles can be expressed for small γ through a large deviation functional. This result is supported by rigorous arguments, showing that the large deviation functional...
